 Opinions that I hold: - Not every anime needs the same clichéd set of scenes. It's not going to be any more interesting to watch the same goddamn thing the 50th time than the first. - Characters based purely on archetypes or a single trait are never going to be interesting if they're not developed. (K-On and Komi-san specifically come to mind) - Characters that are defined by being a pervert are shit characters. - Sexual assault bad. Underage sexualisation bad. Anime doesn't have to be this way, come on guys. It's never been a funny joke. - There is no legitimate reason to use the words 'loli' or 'shota' rather than 'child' in English and I assume anyone who does is a paedophile. - Ecchi 'jokes' are nearly always lazy writing.
